Book Direct: Best Rates + Benefits

Charming Pub, Boutique Rooms

There are a whole host of reasons why we think staying in a pub, trumps staying in a hotel. Whether it’s the warm welcome from Landlord Kyle, our cracking brekkie (we put on quite the spread), or having a beautifully buzzing pub downstairs.

You’ll get a relaxing night’s sleep in one of our 15 boutique-y bedrooms, and if hunger strikes, crack open the minbar and treat yourself to a tipple or some irresistible snacks. Want to make your stay extra special? Book our beautiful Bridal Suite. Despite its misleading name, this spacious suite isn’t just for brides. No siree. Live the good life and take a dip in the roll top bath, work your way through the drinks trolley, then stretch out on the fancy four poster bed. Bliss.

We’re conveniently located a 5-minute drive from Chislehurst train station, and a hop, skip & a jump (or a 25-train journey) from London Bridge, making us the ideal place to stay for both home bodies, and adventurers.

Frequently Asked Questions

Staying Over?

How long should you stay in Chislehurst?

We love our spot on Chislehurst’s picturesque Royal Parade, and we just know you will too.

We think a 2-night stay is pretty perfect. Keeping your stay short and sweet? You’ll have a great time, but there’s so much to do and see in and around our Chislehurst base, that you’ll wish you had an extra night with us.

Staying a little longer? We’ll give you all the best tips to make sure Chislehurst props the top of your getaway list time and time again.

What are the best things to do in Chislehurst?

There’s a whole host of things to do and see during your stay.

At the top of our list is our cake-lovers Afternoon Tea, of course. Served in our quaint Tea Room, and perfect for those of us with a sweet tooth.

If you want to get out and about, head to Chislehurst Caves, or fasten your walking boots and wander 15-minutes down the road to Scadbury Park Nature Reserve.

Be sure you pick up a little find at our local parade of shops too, or just have a little nosey (whatever takes your fancy).

We love to share personal recommendations, so feel free to ask us when you’re here. We’re a friendly bunch.

What time is check-in and check-out?

Check-in is from 3pm. If you arrive early and your room isn’t quite ready, there’s plenty of space in our lovely pub to relax, have a bite to eat or a little tipple.

Arriving early and want to head out? No problem, we’ll hold on to your bags until you’re back.

Check-out is by 11am.

What time is breakfast?

Brekkie is served from 7am-10am on weekdays, and 8am-10am over the weekend (we all deserve a little lie-in, after all).

If your room rate doesn’t include breakfast, but you can’t quite resist, fear not, walk-ins are very welcome.

Do you have any family-friendly bedrooms?

We’ve got lots of family-friendly bedrooms. Some of our Bigger Comfy and Boutique rooms have space for a sofa bed or fold- out bed, and most of our rooms have space for a travel cot.

Children under 2 stay for free. Children aged 2-16 year’s old are charged at £15 per night.

Can I bring my dog to stay?

Pub-loving pups are more than welcome and we’ve got a Comfy, Bigger Comfy and a Boutique room that are all dog-friendly.

Just add your dog to your booking (up to two pups can stay with you for £20 per night), and we’ll make sure they get a VIP welcome with a doggy hamper full of tasty tail-wagging treats, a doggy bed or blanket and bowl.

Getting Here

Do you have any parking?

We’ve got on-site parking directly out front, as well as a car park to the right (you’ll just need to nip up the short side road).

All parking is available first-come, first-parked basis.

How do I get to you via public transport?

We’re a 15-minute uphill walk from Chisehurst train station. If you have luggage, or don’t want to start your stay with a spot of cardio, hop on the 269 bus for 4 stops (hop off at Bromley Lane / Chislehurst War Memorial). That way you’ll only have a 4-minute walk.

Alternatively, treat yourself to a 5-minute taxi ride (we don’t judge).

Booking Bits

Can I cancel my booking?

We understand that plans sometimes change, so we try to make our booking policies super flexible. You can cancel or modify your booking up to 12pm the day before your arrival. If you cancel outside of this time or don’t show up, we’re sorry, but we’ll have to charge you for the first night of your stay. The only rate that’s not flexible is the Early Bird, this one’s non-refundable and non-amendable.

Can I make changes to my booking?

You can make changes to your booking up to 12pm the day before your arrival. This includes changes to your package, room and extras (as long as it’s available). The only rate that’s not flexible is the Early Bird, this one’s non-amendable.

Can I get a copy of my invoice?

Of course. When booking online, you have the option to send an invoice in step 2. Missed this step? Not to worry, just ask at Reception and the team will email you a copy. Checked out already? Pop us an email and we’ll send one right over.
