Our local area

Ideally positioned with Chislehurst Train Station on our doorstep, you can reach Central London in 25 minutes, or choose to stay local and explore our charming village. Take a stroll down the wonderfully diverse high street, pop in the lovely, independent shops, soak up the traditional Kent village feel, or spend the day at one of our local parks.

Chislehurst Caves

These caves have to be seen to be believed! A labyrinth of man-made tunnels covering six hectares, and set up to 30 metres below the homes and woodland above, the caves have been used for many things since the 13th century!

Scadbury Park

The grounds of an ancient manor first settled in around 1200, but now a local nature reserve overlooking the valley of River Cray. More than 300 acres of beautiful countryside to explore, including an important wildlife corridor, makes for a fun family day out!

Danson House

The largest public park in the borough centred around the stunning Georgian mansion. A great day, with guided tours for those who want to soak up a bit of history!

Foots Cray Meadows

The perfect picnic spot, whether you fancy a romantic evening just the two of you, or are a large group wanting lunch surrounded by nature and stunning woodland!
